Graduate students, and in exceptional cases, faculty and undergraduate Honours students at participating institutions are eligible to apply for the RSF Research and Fellowship Initiative (RFI) and, if selected by the RFI Selection Committee, participate in the program.

The RFI will consist of two main components: I) Fieldwork and II) Workshop design and delivery at a local university with international and diverse students, focused on any of the following areas: Politics, Philosophy and Economics; Gender Studies; Development Studies; and Human Rights.

The RFI will require a commitment of up to three weeks on site, not including preparatory time nor any reports and papers produced following the experience. The Fellow will be responsible for bearing all travel costs, however, a stipend will be provided as support.
